Built by Broadrick is a family-run business that’s evolved into something bigger: a tight team of passionate, down-to-earth builders who love what they do and bring that energy into every single project.


  • Founder + Builder

    Dylan grew up on worksites, learning the craft from his dad and honing a love for timber, tools, and all things construction.

    A chippy by trade and perfectionist by nature, he’s all about detail, structure, and building homes that stand the test of time. These days, he splits his time between the office and site, coffee in hand, team at his side, and always looking for the next challenge that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible.


  • Founder + Interior Lead

    Kirby brings a sharp eye for design and a calm, clear voice to every project. With a background in operations (and a love of interiors since forever), she’s the go-to for client communication, selections, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

    Equally at home in work boots or at a colour consult, Kirby’s all about creating spaces people love to live in and making that journey as easy as possible.

    Built by Broadrick came to life with a shared dream: to build homes that people genuinely want to live in. We’re a small Canberra-based crew with big ideas, fast banter, and a shared love for doing things properly. Some days you’ll find us in boots and mud, other days we’re coordinating timber selections, council approvals and slab pours.

    We bring people along for the ride because building your dream home should be exciting, not scary.

  • How we got here.

    Dylan grew up with a hammer in hand, inspired by his dad’s love for timber and craftsmanship. After years in construction, and a game-changing reno up north with Kirby, the couple realised they made a pretty great team, and a business was born.

    Kirby brought the interiors expertise and vision, Dylan brought the precision and obsession with detail, and together they built more than homes: they built a reputation for delivering spaces people fall in love with.
